One of the highlights of my trip to El Nido was island hopping. There are over 45 islands and islets in the Bacuit Bay, and each one has its own unique charm. Another unforgettable experience was swimming in the Small Lagoon. To get there, we had to paddle through a small hole in the limestone cliffs. Once inside, we were greeted by a tranquil lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs. It was like stepping into a hidden oasis, and I felt like I was in another world.
Aside from the natural beauty, the locals in El Nido were also incredibly welcoming and friendly. They were always ready to help us with anything we needed and made us feel right at home. It was truly heartwarming to experience their hospitality and kindness.
